The Palliative and End of Life Care beds at Hotel Dieu offer pain and symptom management in a warm and comfortable environment.

The dedicated members of the multidisciplinary team work together to provide compassionate and supportive care to our patients and their loved ones. They are committed to meeting the emotional, spiritual, and unique needs of each of our patients.

Our patient-centered approach to care ensures that dignity is maintained, and offers comfort, care, and hope to all those who need this service. The palliative program provides pain and symptom management, combined with emotional and spiritual support, to patients at end of life. Care is provided to patients by a multidisciplinary team that offers pastoral care, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy services, dietary services, physiotherapy, social work, speech and language pathology, and recreation programs.
